After some time without updates, i want to share 2 advertisements that I worked on recently at Boundary Visual Effects
Boundary team did rotoscope and some plate reconstruction of tennis players footage for 2 different post production companies.

This was a tricky keying job that i have done recently.
The sequence on video is: final result, original footage, rotoshapes.
Due to non-optimal lighting, the video noise made almost impossible to key with usual off the shelf keyers. Luckily the cloths were all black, so it was time for some single channel keying (green color channel, lowest noise) with additional roto on needed areas. Feet area and lower mic pedestal were not given much attention because they would be off frame.

I did roto work on 4 shots for this Amil advertisement.
For the first 2 shots, the roto was used to enhance the “artifact” with glow and color correction. On the last 2 shots, the roto was used to compose the man in scene with other elements like matte paintings and 3d CG.
All vfx work and final composites credits goes to Amazing Graphics.
